A two-way communication channel between the community and the Committee for Health & Social Care.
CareWatch was formed in 2017 by the Committee for Health and Social Care (HSC). Whilst established by HSC, CareWatch is an independent panel of individuals representing a cross-section of the community including both individuals and representatives of the voluntary sector including: Age Concern and Citizens Advice.
CareWatch plays a vital role in consulting and advising as HSC develops the future of heath and care services in the Bailiwick, sharing user experiences and feedback. The panel welcomes the views of individual service users as well as charitable bodies and organisations connected with health and social care.
In addition to our consulting and advisory role, we may on occasion establish other groups and working parties to advise on or develop proposals relating to the delivery of care to our community. CareWatch may also be invited by the Committee for HSC to work closely with other teams on key projects relating to service user needs, issues or concerns.
We encourage you to provide us with feedback to help us improve and develop services. We aim to listen to your experiences, especially when things have not gone as well as you would have expected.
